On 19th of December 2019 the ‘2019 SEV Industrial Conference “Industry 4.0: A growth opportunity Greece should not miss”’, took place at Hilton Athens.
The Conference aims at highlighting digital transformation as a prerequisite for improving competitiveness, employment and social welfare. Businesses must invest in technology, but technology alone is not enough: it is inextricably linked to new visions, new commitments, new business structures and operational processes, and new skills.
30 high profile speakers attended the conference. During its 5 sessions, discussions focused on Industry 4.0 technologies, pathways to digital transformation, challenges and opportunities for Greek industry and manufacturing, partnerships in global values chains, innovation ecosystems, and financing instruments.
Τhe following teams were awarded:
- 1st Prize: ANALOG PROGRAMMERS Team, awarded by BSE Vice President Constantine Bitsio
- 2nd Prize: ALARM Team, awarded by BSE Vice President Ioannis Ath.
- 3rd Prize: TRESL Team, awarded by BSE President Theodore Fessa
